Embroidered Faces and Nili

I’ve been playing around with banners. The current one is just my logo with some of the new fabric I recently bought. I promise I have a whole line of work planned out, but I shall not bore you with it. I trust that over the next few weeks, I can slowly show you some of my work. And then only can I focus on a great banner.

Here’s a picture of a embroidery designed bag I made a few years back. I also used it as one of my banners previously.

My Laogong and I

Nili’s come back from the vet. Doctor says he’s recovering really well and the wound is all healed up. You wouldn’t have guessed he was a 10 year old rabbit. But the test results aren’t out yet. It might take 2 more weeks or longer.

I have to mentally prepare myself for the worst. But looking at him playing around with us makes me want to believe in the best. He now has the whole house back as his playground, he’s picking a fight with the vacuum cleaner and he is chasing us for his favourite biscuits. At least he’s eating well. I guess this is what they call being cautiously optimistic.

I can’t say for sure how I’ll react if the news is bad. I’m guessing it will be much worse than when I first found out he had a lump. But there’s no point in worrying about something that might not be.

For now, I’m enjoying his nibbles, his hopping and his whiskers tickling against my bare feet.
